Sun and Snow arranged for us to be picked up at the airport, which was great as we landed at a really unsociable hour. There was some confusion as to where we were suppose to go though, so this was a frustrating start, especially with a 2-year-old in tow. We got there eventually and climbed the many, many stairs to the apartment and then collapsed into the very comfy bed.
In the morning we realised just what a lovely space and great location we had. Nicely decorated and spacious despite only having two rooms. There was some teething problems with the security door downstairs, but once we were shown the "knack", it was fine.
It was great to have a washing machine there, and the cooker and hob were great to work with and very, very clean. Our only concern was the wobbly taps and the sockets that kept coming out of the wall; if you look closely, you can see it needs some finishing touches.
Gdansk itself is a beautiful city, with great streets to wander along and explore, and stunning buildings. We also took the train to Sopot one day and spent the day on the pier. We were only there a short time, so there is lots more to see when we return.
